Natural helpers retreat

For the past three days, many CMS BRAVES participated in the Natural Helpers Retreat.  Here, they learned to be good listeners and advocates for kids in crisis.  See some of the attached pics; what a great group!

Civil War Days are here!

Today, our 8th graders travel down the street and back in time, visiting the Civil War Encampment at the Granger Homestead.  There students experience what it was like to live during the 1860's from talented and knowledgeable staff that make this experience a huge success each year!

Open House tonight

Open house for grades 7-8 will be held tonight from 6:00 - 8:00.  Parents will follow an EVEN day schedule.  Please come in and meet the staff that work with our kids each day!

Great start!

We are off and running here at the Middle School!  Today our 6th graders are learning outdoors as they travel together to learn about the outside world, while our 7th and 8th graders are enjoying a beautiful day of learning in classes.  What a great group of BRAVES we have this year!

Anticipation

The school and teachers are ready and waiting for our Middle Schoolers to start tomorrow.  "Excitement" doesn't do it justice.  7:30 can't get here soon enough!  Check back tomorrow for an update how the year is starting
